LMHS results
From 1999 to 2020, 389 students have taken the final exams of 10th Grade.
These results rank LMHS as THE BEST school in Zanskar. The majority of students pursue higher education outside of Zanskar.
These young girls and boys represent an immense hope for the region and the return home of some of them promotes its development and strengthens its identity.

We will build an insulated building of 15 m2 for an estimated cost of €22,000 (US$25,000)
The eco-responsible bioclimatic
boarding school
will welcome its first residents in 2022.
In addition to its function as a boarding school, it will provide a place of study for students where homework will be supervised by the Principal.
The boarding school has been designed with respect for the environment: it integrates SEISMIC RULES, use of SOLAR PANELS and of the “PASSIVE SOLAR” TECHNIQUE. It also functions as a reproducible ENERGY SAVING model for other constructions in the Zanskar valley.
Integrating the boarding school into the campus helps to guarantee quality teaching and the prospect for students to avoid long commutes. The boarding school is above all a place of study and relaxation. Inauguration should take place in summer 2022.
